Kindness
Homes are personal, so we are too. We remember the dog’s name, the school run, the way you take your tea.
About us
Matrix Mind sounds like a tech company — we know. The name describes how we work: methodical about the checks, contracts and cover, and human about everything else. The best households run on people who genuinely care, and our job is to find them.
Our story
Matrix Mind began in 2024, in a small office above Wardour Street. London had no shortage of staffing agencies — what it lacked were agencies that listen. Too many families were being sent piles of CVs and left to gamble on strangers with keys to their homes.
We decided to work the old-fashioned way, at a deliberately human scale: meet every candidate in person, follow every reference by phone, and introduce only the two or three people we would trust in our own kitchens, with our own children, alongside our own parents.
We are still small, and we intend to stay personal. When you call, you speak to the person who actually knows your household — not a ticketing system.
What we stand by
Homes are personal, so we are too. We remember the dog’s name, the school run, the way you take your tea.
Your household stays your business. We never name clients, and we never gossip between houses.
If we say Tuesday, it’s Tuesday. If cover falls through, we fix it before you’ve had time to worry.
How we vet
Roughly one in eight applicants makes it onto our books. The process is slow on purpose — trust should be.
A written application, then a proper face-to-face interview — history, skills, and the intangibles.
We speak to former employers directly and ask the questions a form never could.
Enhanced DBS, right to work, and any role-specific certificates — verified, not photocopied.
Paid trial days with a family, because a spotless CV can’t boil an egg or soothe a toddler.
Check-ins at week one and month one, then regularly for as long as the placement lasts.
The company behind the name
Matrix Mind is the trading name of Matrix Mind Systems Ltd, a private limited company registered in England & Wales.
We’re two minutes from Oxford Circus — or one phone call from wherever you are.
